Your Right to Data Deletion
At LeashOnLeashOff, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data.
This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request the deletion of your account and
associated personal information.
This policy applies to all users of the LeashOnLeashOff mobile application and complies
with applicable data protection laws, including requirements from Facebook, Google, and
Apple platforms.
How to Request Account and Data Deletion
Method 1: In-App Deletion
You can delete your account directly from within the app:
- Open the LeashOnLeashOff app and log in to your account
- Navigate to Settings or Profile
- Select "Account Settings"
- Choose "Delete Account"
- Confirm your deletion request
Account deletion through the app is immediate and permanent.
Method 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion via email:
Email Address: support@leashonleashoff.com
Please Include:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Username or display name (if applicable)
- Clear statement: "I request deletion of my account and all associated data"
What Data Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:
Your profile information (name, email, display name)
Account credentials and authentication tokens
Pet profiles and photos you uploaded
Location history and walking data
Messages and chat history
Friend connections and social interactions
Game statistics and achievements
Preferences and app settings
Reviews and ratings you provided
User-generated content
Data That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons:
Legal and Compliance
Transaction records, payment information, and other data required for tax, legal, or
regulatory compliance may be retained as required by law.
Security and Fraud Prevention
Information necessary to prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or protect the safety of
users may be retained in anonymized form.
Backup Systems
Data may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.
Aggregated Analytics
Anonymized, aggregated data used for analytics and improving our services is not
personally identifiable and may be retained.
Deletion Processing Timeline

In-app deletions are processed immediately

Email requests are processed within 2 business days

Complete removal from all backup systems
You will receive a confirmation email once your data deletion request has been processed.
⚠️ DELETION IS PERMANENT AND CANNOT BE UNDONE
Before You Delete Your Account:
- You will lose access to all app features and content
- Your username may become available for others to use
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again
- Any purchased features or access codes will be forfeited (no refunds)
- Friend connections and social relationships will be permanently removed
Third-Party Platform Data
If you signed up using Google, Apple, or Facebook authentication, deleting your
LeashOnLeashOff account only removes data stored in our systems. To remove data from
those platforms:
Google Account: Visit your Google Account settings to manage connected
apps and revoke LeashOnLeashOff's access.
Apple ID: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security >
Apps Using Apple ID to manage LeashOnLeashOff.
Facebook Account: Visit Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites to
remove LeashOnLeashOff and delete associated data.
